| Anna Josephson, General Manager Anna Josephson has always loved food and people. She grew up in New Haven, Connecticut helping her parents cook from their collection of Gourmet Magazines dating from 1965. Dinner was the most important meal of the day, where the family gathered nightly to enjoy each other’s company and the fruits of a well prepared meal. When Anna turned 16 she and her brother drove an ice cream truck which was her first taste of food, service, and business. Since then Anna has managed bakeries and coffee shops. She has peddled wine, washed dishes and cooked at the local institution, Winds Café and Wine Shop in Yellow Springs, Ohio, where she earned her BA in Business Management at Antioch College. A short visit to Portland while in school brought Anna back to make a home in 1998. The lively restaurant scene called and Anna found herself working as a Sous Chef to local chefs Pascal Chureau of Fenouil and Lisa Schroeder of Mother’s Bistro. Although she loved cooking, she missed the interaction with people and refocused her career to include both food and service. Anna has been the cornerstone of Park Kitchen service since opening day. She and the staff recognize that even the most delicious food needs a welcoming smile to make a meal.
